The Performing Arts Series is arranged by the Irving Park Fine Arts Committee. The group is dedicated to providing the Irving Park community with a variety of high quality professional musical and theatrical events with no admission charge and to providing professional Chicagoland musicians, theatrical directors, dancers and actors a venue for performance and artistic growth.
All concerts, unless otherwise noted, are at 2:00 PM in the Irving Park Lutheran Church sanctuary located at the NW corner of Belle Plaine & Harding in Chicago.

October 12, 2008PolyKrome Brass EnsembleAssembled of some of Chicago’s finest musicians, PolyKrome Brass has a combined performing experience of over 20 years. PolyKrome's members have had the opportunity to work internationally, the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo Japan, and extensively throughout the US. Member's have performed with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, South Bend Symphony Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic, the Millar Brass Ensemble, Chicago Light Opera Works, and Ohio Light Opera. What began as a celebration is now a select group of performers ranging from different spiritual backgrounds. Whether performing from the chancel or from center stage, the Lutheran Choir of Chicago presents a wide range of styles and compositions with a spirit that is contagious. From Bach to Brahms to contemporary song, LCC is a popular group at places of worship, music festivals, civic events, concert halls, and on radio and television programs.
